Scientific Name : Aplonis panayensis
Size : 20 cm
Found : KLCC, Kuala Lumpur
Found at the KLCC's park in the middle of Kuala Lumpur. These Philippine Glossy Starlings seek fruiting trees like cherries, figs and palm seeds. They are very adaptable to concrete jungles. I saw them inside Sibu Airport, Sabah too.

Birds are a joy to watch. Life on earth will be empty without the melodies of birds. They entertain us, they trill us, they provide an added color to our world and most of all, they are the indicator of our environment.
